WEB/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
You will be an experienced and creative designer equally at home
designing for print as well as the web. Sufficiently opinionated
you will be able to generate original designs and ensure their
consistent use throughout the company.

Profile
Having worked in a graphic design and web environment for a few
years you are ready to take on the challenge of developing and
implementing a house style across print, display and the web.
You will be able to cope with tight deadlines and be a team player
who enjoys being part of a dynamic, creative group.
Description
As a key member of the marketing team you will be responsible
for the company’s image on the Internet as well as keeping the
intranet site up-to-date. You will know how to use photography,
print and graphics to convey the values of the company and reflect
the type of business.
Responsibilities
include:
- Creating
and updating the corporate Internet and intranet sites
- Design
and create print and display materials
- Update
in-house office design
- Updating
presentation materials e.g. powerpoint
- Commissioning
of photography for use in PR, literature and in-house decoration
- Design
new sites for demonstrations, testing etc.
Required
skills:
- Good
HTML skills using hand-coding techniques and/or industry standard
tools
- Graphic
design skills.
Optional
skills:
- CGI
scripting (Perl etc.)
- Photoshop,
dreamweaver, illustrator
- Knowledge
of other Internet markup languages (CSS, WML, HDML, XML etc.)
- Experience
with Apache web servers running under Unix.
Salary
and Benefits:
To £35k + benefits including in-house restaurant and stock options
