TECHNICAL COMMUNICATOR
Experienced Technical Communicator/Author required to document and communicate the development and design of the next generation of WAP products.

Personal Profile
You love the English language and regret the inability of some manuals to convey even the simplest terms to a broad spectrum of users. Technical people respect your style and ability to take garbled notes and turn them into proper documentation. Layout and style with some flair are your bread and butter. Your desire is to make technology easier to use by advising in such areas as User Interface design and by creating useful help pages and other documentation.

Description
To supplement our design team we are looking for strong communication specialists to document and design user manuals, help pages, web sites and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Documenting the architecture and design for the next generation of WAP products
• Scribing and capturing technical detail from design meetings
• Creating User Interface designs for Web based tools and technologies.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5 years technical writing within the software and/or wireless sectors
• Knowledge of User Interface Design
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective Time management when working with multiple projects
• Demonstrable knowledge of UML.
  
  

Optional Skills

• Ability to draft patent applications.
  
  

Salary and Benefits

• Package of around £30-40K depending on ability and experience
