SENIOR ANALYST
A Senior Analyst is required to join the core of a new team of developers producing the next generation of WAP middleware applications.

Personal Profile
You have worked on successful corporate projects and know how to take business requirements and develop a full analysis of them. You are logical in your approach and can work well with business and technical people. UML is your bread and butter and you can apply it at all levels from requirements gathering to final product definition. You know the difference in defining an interface and the implications of full abstraction. You will be able to demonstrate your ability in defining both strategic and tactical solutions and know when to apply either.

Description
To supplement our development teams we are looking for strong analysts with a high degree of technical knowledge to take basic high level design and requirements to the next level. You will join a tightly integrated team responsible for both the architectural and functional analysis of the system.

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the definition of the architecture and the design for the next generation of WAP products
• Aiding in the design of the functional classes for the product
• Adding Quality Methods to the design practices
• Working alongside Technical Communicators to produce documentation for end users and technicians
• Ensuring that the final product meets the business and technical requirements
  
  

Required Skills

• 3 years OOA/OOD in the software and/or wireless sectors
• 5 years knowledge of C++
• 3 years knowledge of UML
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Optional Skills

• Knowledge of CORBA
• ISO 9000/9001/9002 project background
  
  

Salary and Benefits

• Package of around £40-50K depending on ability and experience
